A SEAT FOR YOUR FRIENDS
Deberts Деберц
A little strategy. A little luck. Good company.
How our table plays
Deberts is a 32-card trick-taking game. Our house rules are free-for-all, with 2–4 players and a target of 301, 501, or 1001 points. Each player receives six cards before bidding, then nine total with 2–3 players or eight with four players.
Accept the offered trump or pass. If everyone passes, choose a different suit in round two. A second round of passes redeals. Confirm your server-calculated combinations in turn: terc (20), poltinnik (50), or seven-card Deberts (instant match win). The best declaration wins priority; sequences need at least one trick to score. Trump king and queen form Bella (20), revealed when first played.
Follow the led suit. If you cannot, play trump if possible, and overtrump when able. Non-trump strength: A, 10, K, Q, J, 9, 8, 7. Trump strength: J, 9, A, 10, K, Q, 8, 7. The last trick earns 10 points.
The declarer must outscore all opponents combined. On bayt, the declarer scores zero and their points are added to each opponent’s score (our documented house rule). An exact tie suspends the points. The next hand’s highest scorer receives the whole suspended pot; a tie for highest carries it again. If multiple players reach the match target, the highest total wins; equal totals use seat order. Automatic declarations avoid manual score entry.
Before declarations, four sevens allow a redeal. In 2–3-player games, exchange your trump seven for the offered card before declaring, only when that offered suit became trump. Early “Partiya” claims are not enabled; victory is checked on a completed hand or a Deberts declaration.
